Education

boot-camp-2016-me-2WBCC knows that the best advocates are well-educated advocates. Policy expertise and education go hand-in-hand.

WBCC offers our own educational programming for free to groups, healthcare centers and organizations statewide. View our programming here.

Educated advocates follow the science of current research and are able to discern what really constitutes “progress” and what doesn’t. Our members participate in many opportunities to broaden our knowledge about breast cancer beyond headlines and sound bites. And we make these opportunities available to anyone who is willing to go “beyond the pink ribbon.” We strive to bring experts on cutting edge research to the state to make sure we are informed about current findings. We also monitor media sources on breast cancer research and science and post articles of interest on our Facebook page.
