5:30-6:30pm
Breast Cancer Recovery
34 Schroeder Ct. #220, Madison, WI 53711
Presented by WBCC’s Dawn Anderson and Kari Cataldo, this training is meant for anyone interested in becoming an advocate for breast cancer legislation in Wisconsin, including survivors, thrivers and their family members, friends and caregivers. Legislation will be introduced for Gail’s Law very soon, and we need more advocates to get it passed. The bill will require insurers to cover essential screenings for women who are at high risk for breast cancer due to dense breast tissue, personal medical history or family history/genetics. There will be a 40-minute training presentation, followed by questions and answers. There is no cost to attend this event. In-person and virtual attendance are offered. In-person attendance is limited to 10, so please register early!
This is the first in a series of Beyond the Pink Ribbon® trainings to be offered this year.
