Are you interested in becoming an advocate for breast cancer legislation in Wisconsin and/or at the national level? Dawn Anderson and Kari Cataldo of WBCC are offering this free training on how to engage with your legislators to ask for their support of bills related to breast cancer. We invite anyone who wants to make a difference to join us, including survivors, thrivers, family members, friends and caregivers. Legislation will be introduced in Wisconsin for Gail’s Law very soon, and we need more advocates to get it passed. This bill will require insurers to cover essential screenings for women who are at high risk for breast cancer due to dense breast tissue, personal medical history or family history/genetics. There will be a 40-minute presentation, followed by questions and answers. There is no cost to attend this training. We hope to see you there!
This is an in-person only event and the second in a series of Beyond the Pink Ribbon® trainings to be offered this year.
